Poll: Was Reese Justified in Slamming Girls Who Make Sex Tapes and Go on Reality TV?

Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon pose with an elephant at a photocall for "Water for Elephants" at Luna Park on Sydney Harbour. (Bauer Griffin)more pics » Wow, Reese Witherspoon really let Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and basically all of reality television have it in her Generation Award acceptance speech at the MTV Movie Awards. More on that in a minute…
But first: Last Friday's poll: Who should Scarlett Johansson date now that Sean Penn is out of the picture? An overwhelming number of people voted for Bradley Cooper. Some might claim this was all a ploy to get them together (wouldn't they be cute though!!!???), because Cooper was up against the likes of Jack Black, Tila Tequila, M. Night Shyamalanetc. But still! They'd be a super-cute couple, just saying.
Back to Reese:
On one hand, we're proud of America's Sweetheart(™) for taking a stand and speaking her mind. You can read all about the speech here, but she basically said you can make it in Hollywood as an actress without making a sex tape, shooting naked cell phone pics of yourself or starring on a reality show (or all of the above, which was more or less implied and directed at a few specific people, obviously). It was kinda what we've all thought at one point anyway.
But on the other hand, way to kick bad girls of cable television when they're down. How can we call it "kicking the girls when they're down" as they drive around in pink Bentleys? Well, it's a Bentley, yes. But it's pink. And 10 times more people have seen the driver of that car have the night-vision raccoon-eyed sex than tuned in to her reality show. So shining a light on that may not be the nicest thing, coming from the nicest girl in Hollywood.
So what do you think?
Was Reese Witherspoon justified in slamming girls who make sex tapes, take racy cell phone pics and star on reality shows?
